Summer Programs

Summer day camps at both our Mobile and Eastern Shore studios offer the chance to try classical ballet or jazz at all ages, or enhance dancers’ year-round training.

Summer Intensives and master classes offering the most advanced pre-professional training are also available.

Every dancer will have opportunities to train, improve, and have fun this summer at Mobile Ballet. New students welcome!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL BOOT CAMP

Join us for BACK-TO-SCHOOL BOOT CAMP at our new Eastern Shore studio in Daphne and start off strong for fall classes!

This is a four-day camp to prepare dancers for the upcoming 2024-2025 Season and Classes at Mobile Ballet. Students will have a 1.5 hour ballet technique class, followed by a 1 hour pointe class. (Mobile Ballet Company and Junior Company strongly encouraged to attend.)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Mobile Ballet students must be Level 6 and up with one year of pointe training, or currently enrolled in Beginning Pointe at Mobile Ballet.
• Students new to Mobile Ballet must be ages 12 & up with at least one full year of pointe training.

DATES: August 5-8, Monday through Thursday

TIME: 4:00 – 6:30pm

LOCATION: Mobile Ballet EASTERN SHORE Studio in Daphne

Princess & Pirate Camp

Ages 3-5 (must be potty-trained)

Princess & Pirate Camp for ages 3-5 is a fun introduction to ballet with creative movement, story time, craft activities, and more! For girls and boys!

10:00 am to 12:00 noon

$150 per week

• June 3-6 (Monday-Thursday) at the Mobile Studio

• July 22-25 (Monday-Thursday) at the Mobile Studio

• June 3-6 (Monday-Thursday) at the Eastern Shore Studio

• July 29 – August 1 (Monday-Thursday) at the Eastern Shore Studio

#LetsDance Camp

 Ages 6-10

#LetsDance Camp for ages 6-10 is an engaging mix of ballet & jazz, allowing students to gain confidence and improve strength and technique while having fun! For girls and boys!

10:00 am to 12:30 pm

$175 per week

Camp session dates:

• June 10-13 (Monday-Thursday) at the Mobile Studio

• July 22-25 (Monday-Thursday) at the Mobile Studio

• June 3-6 (Monday-Thursday) at the Eastern Shore Studio

• July 29 – August 1 (Monday-Thursday) at the Eastern Shore Studio

SUMMER OPEN CLASSES

SUMMER INTENSIVE

For dancers ages 12 and up. Minimum one year of POINTE training is required.

Includes ballet, pointe, variations, jazz, contemporary, and more! Taught by outstanding Mobile Ballet faculty as well as world-renowned guest instructors, Mobile Ballet’s Summer Intensive provides advanced to pre-professional training. 

JUNIOR INTENSIVE

For dancers ages 10 and up. Minimum two years of BALLET training is required.

Challenges students to enhance skills and technique, with the opportunity to learn from outstanding faculty and guest instructors!
