POINTE TO THE FUTURE

As we celebrate 35 years of Mobile Ballet, we are excited to launch a capital campaign in support of Mobile Ballet’s current and future growth.

Mobile Ballet’s capital campaign will help fund a new larger Eastern Shore studio facility, as well as improvements to our Mobile Studio facility.

Be a part of building the future with Mobile Ballet!

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving the community over the past 35 years, Mobile Ballet has made a tremendous impact on the cultural, artistic, and economic landscape of the greater Mobile area.

In just the past year, Mobile Ballet has been able to directly impact over 12,000 people through our public performances, Discover Dance program, community outreach, and the Mobile Ballet School.

Mobile Ballet fills an important role in the state as the premier classical ballet school and performing company in south Alabama, with the highest quality training from beginner to pre-professional. We currently serve nearly 300 students at our two studios in Mobile and in Daphne, offering 87 classes per week.

And we are growing!

Demand for instruction, rehearsal space, and community outreach has surpassed capacity at our current studios in Mobile and Daphne.

In order to meet this growth and better serve our community, we are embarking on expansion and improvements for both our studio facilities.

To meet the immediate need, we recently converted storage space into a new 5th studio at our Mobile Studio facility allowing for expanded class offerings with additional faculty this year.

As we near 25 years in our current Mobile Studio, this facility is also in need of many improvements and upgrades, including new sprung floors and updates to common areas.

Eastern Shore growth presents the need for a new larger studio facility which will include a much needed rehearsal-sized studio, along with two additional studios to accommodate a broader range of classes at all levels.

Community support and interest in what Mobile Ballet provides has been consistently strong and is steadily increasing, and we are committed to serving our community.

There is still more work to be done to position ourselves for the future… and we need your help!

Your giving, no matter the size, is important in sustaining artistic excellence at Mobile Ballet, and strengthens the fabric of the vibrant and diverse arts culture in the Gulf Coast area.

Community support has a substantial impact on our efforts to provide world-class programming on stage, excellent training in the studio, and meaningful outreach programs within our community.

Join us in the next phase of Mobile Ballet’s growth as we POINTE TO THE FUTURE!

Mobile Ballet’s Eastern Shore Studio expansion has been made possible in part by an Arts and Cultural Facilities Grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts
