NUTCRACKER COMMUNITY AUDITION

Be a part of THE NUTCRACKER with Mobile Ballet!  Mobile’s favorite holiday tradition for 35 years, and winner of the 2023 Nappie Award for BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR! 

Free audition, open to the community

Date:  Friday, September 15, 2023

Time:  4:30-6:00pm

Location:  Mobile Ballet Studio, 4351 Downtowner Loop N, Mobile

Audition requirements are as follows:

– Male and female dancers are welcome to audition.

– Non-Mobile Ballet students: Age 10 and up with one year of ballet training

– Current Mobile Ballet students: Level 5 and up (audition not required for current students in Levels 1-4 and Company)

– Girls – Wear a solid color leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet slippers (and pointe shoes if applicable), hair in a bun, and no jewelry (a solid color skirt is optional).

– Boys – Wear a white fitted t-shirt, black footed tights, black ballet shoes, and a dance belt (when necessary).

– Arrive early to allow time for check-in; audition class begins at 4:30pm.

Adult roles available as well!  Inquire for more info.

Nutcracker performances are December 7-10 at Mobile Civic Center Theater.  Upon casting, additional info will be provided regarding rehearsals and participation fees.
